A Simple, Legal 3-Step Process
Your Path to Medical Cannabis in Arkansas
Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment
Book an appointment with a state-certified Arkansas medical marijuana doctor through HealifyNowMMJCards at a time that best fits your schedule. Provide your basic medical details and select a convenient appointment time—telehealth and in-person evaluations are available across the state for your comfort and accessibility.
Step 2: Complete Your Evaluation
During your consultation, the doctor will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, and determine if you meet Arkansas’s qualifying conditions for medical cannabis. If you qualify, your physician will issue the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Physician Certification Form, which you’ll receive directly after your appointment. This form is required to register with the state.
Step 3: Register with the State
Once you have your physician certification, you’ll need to register online with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH). You’ll complete an application in the Arkansas Medical Marijuana System (AMMS), upload your certification, a valid Arkansas ID or driver’s license, and pay the required $50 state application fee.
After approval, you’ll receive your Arkansas Medical Marijuana ID Card, which allows you to purchase cannabis from state-licensed dispensaries.
Important
The Arkansas medical marijuana ID card is valid for one year and must be renewed annually with a valid doctor’s certification.
Out-of-state patients visiting Arkansas with a valid medical marijuana card from another state may apply for a temporary visiting patient card valid for up to 90 days.
All patient information is confidential and protected under Arkansas state law (Amendment 98).
